Subtle red fruits build through the middle of the palate, while a tight, lean acid line keeps the wine fresh (dare I say, a wine akin to good Chambolle-Musigny). Beautifully balanced and well proportioned. Neither fruit nor tannin dominating. Warming alcohol and a gentle kiss of fresh herbs at the close. Much to give in the next 5 years.
Best Drinking: Excellent now, but will open nicely over the next 5 years
100% Grenache fruit sourced from the much loved Zimmer vineyard in the warm climate region of McLaren Vale.
